Fatima Taj


Fatima is a sophomore in Mather House pursuing a concentration in History and Literature. She got involved in PSA her freshman year and first joined the board as secretary. Some of the other things she does on campus is write for the Harvard Political Review and is part of The Seneca. In her free time, she loves to paint, read, and watch Marvel movies. Family, friends, and good food bring her the most amount of joy so if you see her on campus be sure to say hello!


Ibraheem Khan


Ibraheem is a sophomore from Chicago, Illinois studying Applied Mathematics and Economics. Outside of PSA, he is an analyst for the Harvard Undergraduate Capital Partners and a Senior Investment Research Analyst with the Harvard Financial Analysts Club. Having interned with a local accounting firm in Chicago, he's quite interested in startups, especially those in the accounting sector. He enjoys poetry (e.g. spoken word, shayari), honing his Urdu, and the occasional FIFA match. Fun fact, his parents have the same birth date! 

Noor Baig


Noor is a freshman living in Hollis Hall from Chicago, Illinois, studying Neurobiology with a secondary in Islamic Studies. At Harvard, she is involved with PSA, Yearbook, HIS, and is a mentor for Strong Women, Strong Girls. She hopes to ultimately become a neurosurgeon and treat patients with degenerative nerve diseases. Noor finds great joy in thinking about her childhood in Chicago near Devon Street, which has the best Pakistani food! She also loves watching Grey’s Anatomy, going to the gym, and spending time with her family.



Abdullah Shahzad

Abdullah is a currently a freshman from Lahore, Pakistan and is planning on concentrating in Economics. He loves to keep up to date with Pakistani political and financial affairs and enjoys spending talking about such topics with friends and family. He likes to play cricket and is looking forward to meeting new people on campus so don't be afraid to stop by and say hello!

Fouzia Raza

Fouzia is a sophomore from Miami, Florida studying biomedical engineering. She is currently involved in the Harvard Undergraduate Robotics Club and the Harvard Islamic Society. She is interested in the applications of engineering principles in designing devices that help patients with mobility impairments and hopes to conduct research in the area this summer. She is always down for a game of Jeopardy! and loves to spend time with her twin sister. Her favorite food is doughnuts (tied with chicken tikka) and loves to read in her "free" time.


Hamaad Mehal

Co-Director of Educational and Political Initiatives

Hamaad is a first year in Canaday. He is from a lil' town called Fayetteville, Arkansas. On campus, he is a part of the Arete Fellowship and is excited to be more involved in the IOP this semester. As for potential concentrations, he is looking at Social Studies or Economics. Fun fact, he was almost arrested at the Canadian border for being too honest (crossing the border with food). Hamaad also enjoys chocolate milk, the NBA, street pool, and most of all, his Mama and Nani's cooking. 


Asmer Safi

Co-Director of Educational and Political Initiatives

Asmer is a freshman from Lahore, Pakistan currently living in Thayer Hall and planing on concentrating in Political Science and Government. He is interested in foreign policy research, evidence-based policy design, human rights advocacy, post-colonial literature and international development. Outside of the PSA, he is co-president of International Relations on Campus (IoC) and is currently conducting research through the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Heath. 

Bisma Nasir

Co-Director of Social and Cultural Affairs

Bisma is a freshman from Brooklyn, New York. She was born in Pakistan but moved to the US when she was two years old. She is currently trying to improve her Urdu and learning more about Pakistani culture, so if you’re willing to teach her, don't be afraid to contact her! She is planning on concentrating in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology and is considering attending medical school. Fun facts, Bisma can play the saxophone, has broken her nose twice, and didn't start talking until she was three years old!

Nosher Khan

Nosher is a freshman from Hunza in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. He is planning on concentrating in Economics but could have easily have had a secondary in Comedic Studies (he's sad that it doesn't exist at Harvard). He loves to spend time with friends and is well-known for making others laugh with his witty jokes, be it in Urdu or English.  Watch out though, you might be the target of his next comical remark!


Director of Public Service

Iqra Noor

Iqra is a first year from Virginia planning on joint concentrating in Neurobiology and Linguistics with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy on a premedical track (whew!). She was raised in Pakistan and came back to the United States at the age of twelve. On campus, Iqra is a Tutor for Recent Immigrant Teens and teaches an ESL class to Vietnamese elders. She is also the chair of communications for the Harvard PRIMUS community committee. During her free time, she loves to sleep and volunteer. 

Fun fact, she has a brother who is 11 months older than her, practically making them twins!
